Meet the Owner: John Garner



John Garner’s journey into the automotive world wasn’t just a career choice; it was a natural evolution. Growing up in the Phoenix area, John was always surrounded by the industry. His father spent a full career as a mechanic, ensuring John knew his way around a vehicle from an early age. Even today, John still leans on his father’s 88 years of wisdom when a particularly challenging job enters the shop.

Before taking the helm at AAMCO Phoenix, John spent 20 years managing commercial heavy-duty fleets and operations. This background in professional fleet management taught him the importance of reliability, preventative maintenance, and high-level shop operations. With a business degree from Arizona State University and specialized training through AAMCO’s Management and Operations program, John combines corporate-level professionalism with a neighborly approach to service.
